M-Arch Eiko Kumakura

RESEARCH ASSISTANT, PHD STUDENT
Eiko Kumakura is a research assistant and Ph.D. exchange student between ETH Zurich and Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech). She studied Environmental engineering Architecture at TokyoTech where she took her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree. She have been developing numerical tree models for simulating the effects of solar shading by trees on the thermal, light and ultraviolet environment as Ph.D. main research theme. She is currently focusing on the connecting climate simulation and visualization city model as a communication device.
